GONE AntI-bird fence/wall strips

Clearing out the shed and found two packs of these. Each strip is 500mm long and 44mm wide and there are 20 in total. They can be cut to length if needed. I’m on Warham Road.

If I put them on my fence top might they help cut down the traffic on the cat superhighway at the bottom on my garden, and commensurately the cat poo in the 'layby' in my small allotment that they clearly love?....
