Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Pervert in the Park
I was walking the dog in Finsbury Park at about 7pm this evening when I noticed a man standing in the formal gardens next to the lake. He was clearly masturbating through his clothing whilst watching me walk along the path parallel to him.
He is about 5'9/10 tall, of average built, has a dark Mediterranean complexion, clean shaven with thick short, black hair. He was wearing a dark blue track suit with red markings and trainers. I guess him to be mid twenties to mid thirties.
I wasn't close enough or brave enough to get a photo of him but I reported him to the park wardens. He didn't seem bothered by the presence of quite a lot of other people in the park, though he was careful to desist when men came into view.

I keep one of these (good quality video) cameras on my keychain. Simple to use, looks like a car fob lock/release and a very good 'witness' to events like traffic accidents or street violence etc. It also records excellent audio.

I was put off running round the park early morning a few years back cus of something similar. Its very annoying to have ones freedom curtailed cus of this type of thing but its very nasty. Shame your lovely dog didnt bite him in the right place but I guess then you;d be done for canine GBH

Oh no, this sounds very much like a man who did exactly the same thing to me (when I was with my small son, would you believe?). I reported it to the police, it's a very serious matter and he needs to be stopped. If it is the same man, he used to hang about in Downhills Park and Lordship Rec, but I thought he had gone, not seen him for a while.
Do speak to the police or safer neighbourhood people, he needs to be caught.
