Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Some good news about Harringay Passage
A couple of weeks ago, I asked the village manager for Veolia whose in charge of street cleaning if he could arrange to clean the accumulate bird droppings on the passage where it joins Turnpike Lane.
His response was immediate and the work followed quickly.
Being thus encouraged I asked him if he could have the portion between North and South Harringay schools cleaned, and this is now in progress.
I've already thanked them, but I'm sure that more plaudits would not go unappreciated.

Well done all around. I did read this during lunch and the thought of that end of the passage caused me to gag. Alas it won't be in that disgusting state for hopefully a while and will see periodic cleaning to keep it from fully returning to its prior state. Thanks all around to everyone involved!
