My French, which used to be pretty fluent, has become quite rusty. I'm looking for regular, fairly structured, conversation sessions, with an experienced tutor. Anyone out there offering? or know someone suitable?

I don't, but want to recommend (in case you haven't discovered it) 'Spiral' - a fantastic French TV cop drama. The final series (8) is starting on Saturday on BBC 4, and all the earlier series are on iPlayer.
Anyone wanting something a little less 'cop show', check out Call My Agent! (on Netflix, maybe BBC soon?) - a light comedy of manners about a showbiz agency which has just finished it's well-received four-season run.
Engaging idea to have real stars acting as themselves but you should recognise them to 'get' the full effect. Audrey Fleurot is in one of the later episodes for example but if you don't know her as the redheaded lawyer in Spiral you miss some of the point. Fun though!

Channel 4's Walter Presents has a fantastic collection of foreign language TV series including several French language shows. But they also have Italian, Spanish , Scandinavian, Dutch, Belgian as well as South/Latin American shows. All on catch up TV at no cost other than the internet connection, and submitting yourself to ads, of course!
It really is a treasure!
