Ah yes, their traditional roles, more or less.
Not forgetting the free advertising bollards for political groups and cultural events.
Birdy do you mean those cards placed in phone boxes ? I thought they were to do with something else.

Well I thought it was a lovely tale of community.

Where I see a story of people coming up with their own solutions to the loss of amenities such as their mobile library, others appear to see it as an opportunity to talk about wee and prostitutes cards.

You're right, it is a good tale but we think we are so fantastically trendy and amusing we can't help it.
I saw the lovely story about the bus shelters turned into lounges with a sofa and carpet etc. People thought they might have been vandalised or robbed but, suprisingly, folk enjoyed them and they were respected for what they were. Can i now make another joke about phone boxes please ?
And none of you have done the positive thing over here yet. Please do! For your community. :)
