Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Old ride-on

I am having a clear out and wish to dispose of my old Toro ride-on mower.  It's not actually been a mower since I discarded the totally clapped out and dangerous cutting deck.  For some years it has simply been a toy for riding kids round the garden.  It could still be used in that way or, perhaps, used in teaching about maintaining and fixing machinery and simple engines.

Here it is, complete with its Briggs & Stratton 5HP engine and recently new tyres:

It starts OK (with a pull cord) and it takes regular unleaded petrol.  The gear box is very worn but that's hardly surprising since my father bought this thing in about 1973.

Anyone who wants to collect it can have it for nothing.  I'll drive it up to the kerbside but, needless to say, it is not legal on public roads.

Any ideas?

I am happy to say that this old machine has gone to a loving home thanks to HoL.
