I went to Snug for brunch today and then got in to the Salisbury around opening time at 2... Ended up having a couple whilst watching football there on my phone. It wasn't very busy in the pub - I was anxious at the outset but soon settled (maybe the alcohol helped).... Very relaxed in both venues, not that different to "normal". Just nice to put lunch and beer money into the local economy!

I've been nowhere yet but I will have before the end of the week.

I popped into The Salisbury on Saturday afternoon out of curiosity as I was walking past. Really well organised - I had my hands anti-bac’d, was asked to provide my name and phone number for track & trace, then met by the friendly welsh guy in a mask who took me to a table. It’s a big pub so easy to distance and there are clear floor markings at the bar. Everyone was really happy and it was such a treat and a relaxed vibe that I ended up staying for a couple of pints.

Does the Salisbury have table service now then? Or an app to order your drinks?

No. But no congregating at the bar and separate 2m (ish) berths at the bar. There's no requirement for table service or an app, it just seems to be the way the chains have gone.

Just a personal reaction, but I'd leave immediately if I saw a staff member in a pub or restaurant wearing a mask.

Why?

Because they give me the creeps - OK, I comply with the regulations and wear one on public transport now and I can see the need for that, but I just don't want to go to any places of entertainment/hospitality and see people wearing them - too much grim reality - that's just me.
