Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The Post Office is apparently still open for business nationally but has anyone had local deliveries this week?

What do they mean by "worse than Christmas"? Too much work? But due to not enough staff?

They said the volume of packages and parcels is higher than at Christmas. I guess everyone is at home and ordering things online. I have read elsewhere that 30-40% of staff are out as well, that's probably not helping.

That makes sense. It's difficult because I want to support small businesses by buying stuff from them but do the posties need the extra work...?

I'll admit that I don't know the particulars of how mail service works, but I'm more worried about small businesses going under than the Royal Mail. The issue is that when you order something from a small business and RM doesn't deliver it, the small business then has to make a refund. I am waiting for books ordered a month ago and I don't know if they've gone missing (which seems to happen a lot with books) or if RM is just sitting on them.

This week in Hornsey no deliveries on Campsboure estate at all.

I've just seen our usual postie on Harvey Road.

After a week of no post and 4 weeks of very little, I have had one item delivered. None of my last 4 Radio Times though

We just got mail for the first time in 11 days. Still haven't gotten our letter from Boris yet, and they don't seem to be delivering magazines and periodicals.

Me too!  Got my “stay at home” letter from hospital dated two weeks ago!

Post in N4 still mega erratic. Have had a couple of things delivered that were sent in the last week or so, but a load of stuff that was meant to arrive four weeks ago (including kid's birthday presents) still MIA. Is everyone else's experience pretty similar?

Yes - get one or two deliveries a week, but still waiting on parcels from 4 weeks ago.

My last delivery was Tuesday 28th April in Hornsey. MNo sign of post since
