Once again, Liz, my thanks for this updating information.
I've looked through my email inbox and can't find it. I wonder if they forgot to tell councillors about the new number. Nor can I see it (5 May) on the Council's Home Page.
I had a parking query, so I phoned parking, who put me through to Customer Services. They guy who answered me was perfectly pleasant and tried to be helpful, but said that he couldn't help me as this was not his area of expertise. He said there was no way of sifting the queries and passing them to the correct person. He offered to put me back on hold and hope I got someone who could answer my question. He expressed his frustration with the system.
