Our washing machine is on the blink.
It was stuck on a wash cycle, and when I finally stopped it, I couldn't open the door - I may have been too forceful with the handle.
Any suggestions of someone I could ask to take a look to give a temporary fix before looking for a new one?

Also for getting a stuck door on a washing machine open this tip works...
Thanks Adam.
It would seem that Bosch have some sort of anti-break in door, can't get the string in at all!
Our (non-Bosch) machine has a timer that delays being able to open it till 3 minutes after the wash cycle has finished,
OR until 3 mins after we have switched off the electricity supply to the machine if there's a mid-cycle problem. HTH.
Yeah, it's not the lock, as it unlocked.
I think I broke the handle
Umm, here's another video, showing how to open the door when the handle's broken....

He used a metal knife, but if you have something similar-shaped but made of strong flexible plastic that might be an alternative. Perhaps a non-stick cake slice or palette knife. Not the plastic catering knives though, they'll break.
Ooh, that's our model. Might try that later, thanks!
Good old youtube!
