Yes, so I wonder why there are business on Green Lanes that charge for debit card transactions under £5. It's allegedly 8p per transaction but the "charge" on Green Lanes is 50p.
There are charges to business for debit cards as well you know. And how many million people don't have access to a bank let alone credit or debit cards? Cash is also more useful if you're budgeting. It's easy to get carried away when you're flashing a card everywhere. Don't knock cash. It has its uses; that's why it's survived for so long. Cards suit big business with staff-cutting on its mind and Governments intent on surveillance of the citizenry.
