Two weekends of noise, disruption, antisocial behaviour & loss of half the park for four weeks when the park should be available for the people who live round and close by. No one to blame but the Haringey Councillors who agreed to this. If you experience problems and keep ringing their complaints line 020 8396 7701 - if people don’t log concerns the council will claim there is no problem.

Gordon T, I've looked everywhere I can think for any info either way about using permits when these signs are up. I interpreted it as resident or visitor permits were permitted, as it's not specific. I'm CPZ A too, do you know if this is the right approach? Keep meaning to call Parking and keep forgetting.
"I'm CPZ A too".
I read this as in previous years -- cars parked in CPZ Green Lanes A with a valid residents' permit or a visitor's permit will be allowed to park during the 'Wireless' extended hours control period.
I hope I'm not over-optimistic.
"No waiting/loading/unloading
Except GL A CPZ permit holders in marked bays"
is what the notices say. It does not single out residents or visitors permits for special treatment; it just states permits.
All it's doing is extending the usual hours in GL A.
It's different for those in the Finsbury Park CPZ as discussed above.
Just walked along Blackstock Road and all streets running in the Islington direction closed to non residents - must be a problem if they have visitors
On a related note, was anyone else kept awake last night by loud music going on until 2.30am? I think the party was somewhere on Effingham Road... it was ridiculously loud. I've no problem with people having house parties, but playing music that loud and that late - in a residential neighbourhood - is just really antisocial. I ended up getting about 4 hours' sleep and feel like a zombie today.
We walked through the park and there were a lot of parked buses, near the American Gardens some of which had their engines idling with the drivers sleeping in the front. We confronted one of them and he denied idling - saying he had to charge his phone. I rang the hotline to complain - I do think that it’s worth contacting the council too and that the hotline might be the organisers way of intercepting what would otherwise be an avalanche of complaints....
While I think it is important to use the dedicated line or email address: finsburypark.residents@festivalrepublic.com but in addition worth registering concerns with the Councillor responsible for Haringey Parks and would I assume have been closely involved in the decision to allow this event to be held.
Well I reckon I've just heard/seen 'Message in a Copter' by The Police over today's event.
Met Police helicopter arrives, hovers over the park, hovers backwards, does a few very tight turns, flying lower than it usually does when on a mission, all very 'look at me'.
It's just 2000, so a little 'now you all behave down there for the rest of the evening' message, I think.
Good. There was a good amount of police presence on Woodberry Downs also.
Ah wasn’t aware. What happened? Police were going through the bushes
Holy Christ. So sorry to hear that. The video is quite harrowing.
I've been told that police helicopters frequently use the Ladder as a visual guide to their direction of flight.
