DOES anyone have any knowledge about unexpected (real) letters sent out by Tesco Mobile?

Letters, generated as a result of Tesco Mobile accepting fraudulent orders for a phone or mobile contract, due to their questionable security?

It appears this scam has been going on for many years and is continuing.

Or, has anyone had experience of dealing with the Tesco Mobile Fraud Team, whose call centre is in South Africa?

Does Tesco Mobile use sufficient care when they sign up new "customers" ?
