Hope he didn't damage the bike stands

Wood Green gets Banksy.

We get Bangsy.

The piece by Mr Banks was hypocritical nonsense which sent the masses wild.

This is art.

Man (or woman) trapped in a metal cage of his (or her) own choosing driven to distraction by the bright lights of the borough and, desperate to join those in our great city with their noses in the trough, subconsciously steers his vehicle into a trough made of gleaming white granite, representing the societal edifice of privilege and unjust reward that is propped up and will forever be propped up by the toils and the sweat and the tears of the poor, groaning masses.

Or perhaps the driver was just pi**ed

....and straight into the injury lawyers' office over the road.

Now it all makes sense!

It's ok daddy will buy them another

You're his sugar daddy, James? I never knew.
Priceless. I like the stuff outside the Salisbury. The bit around the wrong way even says something.

Wrong way? Upside down? Inside-out?

Surely not! The experts in Haringey's regeneration team could never sign-off public art pieces installed the wrong way round.  Not in Claire Kober's cleanest streets in London. Please tell me you've made this up, John.

Suppose you could look at in a different way and see that the planter thingies saved a pedestrian from being run over on the pavement and that seems to be where this driver was headed.
I was going to say that, even if they were bollards someone may have been in trouble. Those blocks will grow on us, they're a great idea.

Just been past, and it looks like the bollard/planter/thing came off pretty well. Obviously made of strong stuff!
