Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

it used to be 4 - 7pm, but Haringey Council has removed the signs in Jan stating this SO IT IS NOW 24HRS.

Nice of HC to inform us - NOT.

They could have amended the signs to 24 hours for a a couple of months and then removed them.

But that wouldnt suit the Council, they make a lot more by not informing us.

Fully agree

Aren't bus lanes and their signage a TFL responsibility?

Yes. Don’t TfL also do the enforcement (with cameras)?

On Red Routes yes TfL owns the whole process, otherwise the relevant council issues the penalty notice - http://www.haringey.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/parking/parking...

Means of enforcement unclear -- if Muswell Hill has fixed camera(s) like Green Lanes they would postdate the last Google Streetview car visit last August, and unlike Nick G-T below I have no current photographic evidence.

The first notice of the proposed change in operational hours was made in August last year

oh wonderful, can read that while youre driving up muswell hill!!

I didn’t produce the notice Paddy so there’s nothing I can do about that.

There was a sign? A big massive sign that said it was going to be 24hrs

There is a bloody great yellow sign at the foot of the hill. You might also notice that the 7-10 am and 4-7 pm has disappeared from the blue signage.

But that's not the issue. The issue was the ambulance. He's basically saying he would not have moved into that lane for the ambulance if it was between 7am and 10am or 4pm and 7pm.

Don't put words in my mouth  - I never said that.
