Reform appear to be standing a candidate called Ciprian Mihele in two wards

From the Electoral Commission website l

Can I stand for election in more than one ward within the same local authority?

While you may submit nomination papers for more than one ward, you cannot stand for election in more than one ward within the same local authority after the deadline for withdrawals.1

If the Returning Officer accepts your nomination papers and you are validly nominated in more than one ward within the same local authority, you must withdraw from all wards but one by 4pm on the nineteenth working day before the poll. If you do not, then you will be deemed to have withdrawn from all of the wards.2

So they have until next Saturday to make their minds up or forfeit standing in either ward.

Thanks Michael,
I recently viewed a video by Professor Danny Dorling where he strongly suggests that people NOT voting has increased in significance.

That applies to me personally. Not least when I consider the umpteen betrayals by Keir Starmer. Though of course he boasts of his Zionism  and that has now become pro-genocide and pro-apartheid and child-murder. Not what I ever dreamed as causes which a Labour Leader would openly endorse.

Before 7 May  I would like to hear from one or two of the Green and Labour candidates for my ward -Tottenham Hale - to decide if I give them a vote or two.
Party Labels as such  are only a starting point for me. Nor do  I need more smiling  photos of their Dear Party Leaders. Just one or two short paragraphs about their own  personal values and policy priorities would be welcome. If they haven't got time I'll understand of course.

And they'll understand why I give the polling station a miss this year.

"Before 7 May  I would like to hear from one or two of the Green and Labour candidates for my ward -Tottenham Hale - to decide if I give them a vote or two."

Alan, you do know that outside of Tower Hamlets and Gorton and Denton you only get one vote?

You have up to three votes depending on the number of councillors in your ward.

But you can't vote more than once for the same candidate.

That not what Alan has said. His ward will have candidates from a number of parties and he has a number of votes to cast. These need not all be for the same party. For instance in my ward there are 3 seats so I may vote for one Labour, one Green and one LibDem. Or Two Green and one LibDem. In other words I may give a party a vote or two (or three in my ward)

You don't want to hear from the other parties' candidates, Alan? You'll give the ones representing a "pro-genocide and pro-apartheid and child-murder" agenda a go, but draw the line at one of the blue rosettes. Such moral fortitude.
