The Orange is a " tag" - it was all up the Harringay Passage earlier this month. I think the black also part of the design as that was done all over a Warham house wall. I don't think it means anything as such. More of a marker. Like a dog weeing to show it's in the neighbourhood. Glyn at SNT might recognise the tag.

It is pleasing to have provided a little sport to our latter day Bletchley code breakers, psycho-ethnologists and child development experts and I am relieved to see that nobody thinks it is some kind of voodoo curse. If it turns out to be an incantation in favour of yet more rain, I shall consider drastic measures such as putting up a discouraging notice ....................now what could it say?
