Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Just wanted to recommend a company we have recently used to make us a new front door.
They are called The Stained glass Door Company and made us a beautiful new front door in a victorian style with lovely stained glass and at a very reasonable price.

Do the 'leaded' glass windows have a break-in resistant element, or is it just leading?

The original stained glass has a strong rod which goes across and behind the glass and through the wood to which the stained glass is secured. Cleverly it occurs at a point in the pattern so that it is not at all obvious (see below) I wonder if this occurs in the reproduction.

Yes, my mother's front door has the same construction - and a very similar bird picture - thank you maggie.

Beautiful!! Do you mind me asking how much the door was including fitting? We need one about 91 wide but exactly the same style as yours. Hamid from parsa joinery in leytonstone quoted approx £1000 without stained glass.
Thanks
We paid £1500 all in for the door with stained glass plus the letter box, having the door painted in a Farrow and Ball colour of our choice and for the stained glass window above the door so not bad!!
It looks great Kerri! Did the cost of the door include fitting? Thanks!
Yes that seems a good price. Did it include fitting and did they come out and measure up or do you provide measurements. Thanks

Thanks very much….I am looking for an existing door replacement. I have a friend who is a stained glass artist, who i would ask to do any refurb of door windows…see link :www.debbiesandersglass.com
