Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Of late foxy has decided my garden is a cool place to travel thru and his leavings on my lawn are getting to be a real pain. Some time ago this topic was up but no real good tips. The sonic repellents/smelly stuff etc gets a really bad feedback(works for dogs and cats but foxes dont give a monkey's. I raised a trellis on one side as that was the escape route but my neighbours fence on the other side is only 5' which is no barrier, so now foxy can't get out on the left side so clambers over the garage and craps on the drive as well. Never even seen the little ******. And yes it def is fox poo...black and firm or dark brown and squishy....Any genuine advice?

Fox Poo must be the doggy equivalent of a good smelly cheese, they love getting their snouts into it. I presume you've tried spending a couple of hours thinking violent thoughts and drinking beer then having a good wee in your garden?

Ha ha!

I threw fox poo that was on my patio over the fence at the back on to the wild land there.  Next day there was fresh fox poo ON THE BONNET OF MY CAR! out the front.

I have withdrawn from the contest.

I've lived at my present address ..N15...for about 5 yrs and foxes are regular visitors in the garden. I've been woken-up quite a few times through the night. When this happens I find myself at the window for quite a while watching them go through mine and another 3 gardens, which are all in a row...this lasts for quite a while once they're there.

Poo is something I've found quite a few times. Not pleasant.

you could just try to learn and love your little visitor. : )

Warm thoughts a little thin on the ground when you find, two days running, that one of them has used your 'Welcome' front door mat as a lavatory. Cleaning up a bristle mat is a pain in the ....

We have a fox that regularly pees on our front door step. We've removed the mat to make it less comfortable, but it still comes back...

Fortunately the weekend newspaper we get delivered comes in a plastic bag, but we still have to be careful not to drip the wee on the carpet!! There's a similar problem with the milk bottles.

Pee on the door mat. Man pee gives and indication of our size etc and it's supposed to freak the foxes out.

Not to say the neighbours!

John, there lurks in your suggestion the potential for a/n SME which the Council should not only encourage but sponsor. Any of our Big Men out there interested in supplying the local market with potent pee by litre/5 litre/10 litre ?  Joe Goldberg comes to mind.

Have you tried bleaching the area without mat of course? I have always found animals hate the smell of bleach. I spray flash spray with bleach near holes in flooring where mice might come in. They never cross it. my dogs keep away from it too.

i don't know if it works on foxes but might be worth a try.

We used one of these to stop cats pooing in the garden. It's supposed to work for foxes as well.
