Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I know this won't be news to some people, but I just wanted to say what a fantastic Mauritian-inspired meal we had at Moka last night. They have a new menu for the autumn - the spiced pumpkin and aubergine brinjal and Makhani curry were particular highlights for us (the full menu is on their Facebook page). My partner and I agreed it was probably the best meal we've had in Harringay (and we really love the Turkish restaurants!).

It was a bit quiet and we wondered if people didn't realise they're now open every Friday and Saturday (as supposed to just once a month as they used to be). We'll definitely be heading back soon and wanted to spread the word!

Yes but try Cafe Tramp when you next want to eat out again and have different from our local (also lovely of course) Turkish restaurants!. Not only their food is great and imaginative but their service is excellent too.

This is good news, we have had the one-off Mauritian tapas in the past and really enjoyed them! Also was just bemoaning the lack of veggie options in Harringay on the Tramp thread so it’s good to know Moka are addressing this.
I agree. We went just before they closed for summer and were amazed they weren't packed. The food was excellent and not expensive. Deserves to do well
We also had a wonderful time at Moka the other night. Not only was the food super delicious but it is such a cool vibe with great music and lighting. Felt really special. Hope to go back soon.
