Hi Everyone
Haringey Council will be resurfacing the carriageway on Green Lanes between Frobisher Road to Williamson Road and Endymion Road to the Borough Boundary.
The work is planned to start on Monday 18 August 2014 and is expected to finish on Sunday 31 August, weather permitting. Works will be carried out by Ringway Jacobs Ltd on behalf of Haringey Council.
The works will take place during both the day and night. Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum during the works.
There may be additional parking restrictions in place. Vehicles parked in suspended bays will be relocated to nearby roads. Residents and Businesses will recieve a letter confirming the details.
Do contact me on emine.ibrahim@haringey.gov.uk if you have any issues or questions and i will make enquiries.
Cllr Emine Ibrahim

Hello Emine, please do say if the Seymour Road et al resurfacing announcement notice from your fellow Ward Councillor James Ryan has been acted on, please? Couldn't see it had happened last time I went up Seymour Road.

Thanks.
Phil, thank you for this very detailed answer, including the (public) council document.
I asked because the original assertion, relayed by another ward councillor, was for Seymour Rd west end to be resurfaced 23-26/06 which obviously is a while ago. Watch and wait I suppose, movable feast time for which ward councillors aren't wholly responsible.
Another one, while I think about it, is the wall repair to the raised garden on Umfreville Rd by the Harringay Passage crossing; the date for work has been put back week by week on http://roadworks.org (take a look by putting in a local postcode e.g. N4 1SB) since an original start date of late June, I think.
And yes, St Ann's is a much bigger issue, given representatives' limited time.
Great to hear that GL is being resurfaced, has been scary & dangerous cycling for the last few years. I gave up reporting potholes, there were too many.
Do you know why the list of proposed roadworks on the Council website hasn't been updated since January 2014? I enquired previously and was told that it would be updated after the local elections:
