Autumn on my street
Coats are taken out of the wardrobe, mornings are chilly and you'd be foolish not to carry an umbrella.
Autumn has most certainly arrived.
Even a short walk down my street is full of colour
That crazy bottle brush bush!
And the beauty of decay.

Incredible the way it's turned so quickly this year. A couple of chilly nights and already have plant casualties and reddening leaves in the garden.

You are both too kind - just lucky shots on sunny days. I did get a couple of my pics selected to be on the BBC website - one of cherry blossom in Downhills Park and one of elderberries in Railway Fields-lucky to live near such picturesque places!

Just shows that you don't need to live in the countryside to see such beauty, if you care to look. Your pics would do Countryfile Calendar proud. In fact, why don't we have a Harringay Calendar with your pics taken round and about the hood at different times of year, and sell it for charity? I'd buy a copy!
