Asda Express taking over site of Queen's Head

Walked past it earlier and there's a sign up that it's going to be an Asda Express. Just checked on Haringey website and there's confirmation of it:

I still miss the pub! Lots of friendly bikers and lots of pool tables plus live music! A rarity now..

Will never forget the night some headcase stole a bus, turned up at closing time and drove everyone from the queen's head to Fagans

The re-development of the building seems to have gone well, including additions out back.

As I walked past Finsbury Park today I saw that the old Arsenal shop is becoming an Asda Express which jogged my memory on this. Anyone any idea if it is still happening?

Asda Express branding is now in place on the old Queen's Head building near Turnpike Lane.
