These six, weekly workshops offer a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences of later life through writing. We’ll look at endings, loss and our feelings about ageing before moving forward to explore our identities, the courage to take risks and rediscovering passions.
Each session involves writing for no longer 2-6 minutes, after which we share our thoughts about what we have written, though no pressure to do this if you prefer not to. No writing experience is necessary, no need to worry about spelling or grammar or the quality or length of your writing. Anything is fine, even writing just one word!Participants of previous workshops have said:
“One of the most interesting groups I’ve been to.”
“Very grateful, rarely have I inhabited a space like this.”
“Astonished that two hours have gone by.”
“Felt very safe, nurtured and stimulated.”
