Our brains are wired to be calmed in the face of kindness. Many of us however find it easy to offer kindness towards others, but struggle to extend it towards ourselves.
It is easy to believe that we need a harsh ‘inner critic’ to keep us motivated, focussed and on track. But a vast body of research points to the opposite.

About this course
This 4 week course will help you understand what self-compassion is, while learning simple but effective ways of bringing it into your everyday life.
Each session includes a range of theory, short practices (short meditations, life skills and soothing gentle movement practices) and time for questions, discussions and reflections.
Each week you will be given a set of handouts and recordings of practices taken so that you can build them into your life between sessions.
