Dylan Thomas House and Hollom House early days

"Mother and father in law moved in first floor brand new 1967 two good bedroom’s,large lounge, kitchen with balcony,toilet and bathroom separate,neither had a window!! They were happy after living in the bottom of a very old house."

"My mother in law lived on the first floor of this block from brand new. They were nice flats for the time two large bedrooms,lounge,good size  kitchen ,toilet and bathroom. There was a cupboard with heater to dry clothes,you wasn’t…"

"The Egg Shop" Green Lanes c1965

"Towards the end of its days they  also had secondhand clothes in there. But it was a very unique shop only selling eggs and made a living."
