Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The wall that is on the corner of Effingham Road Wightman Road side is a question of not if it collapses but when. Each time I pass the split in the wall gets worse and worse I have gone to the property of which they told me that the property is council owned and the council have been and inspected the wall and said that the wall is fine I believe otherwise.

If you have the Haringey App you can report it there and take a photo.  I did this once with a wall in the passage which was quite dangerous and something must have been done because the wall was removed very quickly after that.

I reported just such a case last year and the offending leaning wall was demolished within three days. Several months later a pair of workers showed and rebuilt it. I didn't know it at the time but the building turned out to belong to Homes for Haringey. I think I made the original report to Haringey Building Control as a dangerous structure.  The reply certainly came from them and their action was prompt.  The attached photo is what I reported:
