Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Late Evening Sun - Which is sunny of the street - On the Ladder & at what times?

Just a quick question to those that live/lived on the ladder.

When does the sun sunshine in the back gardens on the RIGHT and on the LEFT (as if you driving up the Ladder from Green Lanes)

I've noticed the houses on the right hand side (North facing) also have sunny gardens in the lunchtime to early evening  especially those situated above the passage towards Wightman Road.

How do your gardens fair? Been to view a few and the estate agents dont always show the orientation on the floor plan....

Thanks in advance for any info....

He's talking about the wine he's producing!

Oh, literally!

Indeed and you can find out more about our wines here

The 2015 Chateau Leoville-PemBarton has a longer finish with overtones of bramble and diesel...

And obviously there's also plenty of good Burgoynedy further south.

Groan :-D
Noooooooooooo

I went hard for the almost due south facing garden on "your left". It makes a huge difference in winter.

Quick question when do u lose sunshine in afternoon and are u lower ladder south or higher up?

What time of year are you interested in in terms of end of sunshine?  Right now, or?

I'm a third of the way up from Harringay Green Lanes Station.  I am on the slope but not as steep as Allison Road and thereabouts.

I am fascinated with how much you are thinking this through. i would just say for my part, it was much more important to me to be somewhat up from Green Lanes and somewhat down from Wightman. I get zero noise from either as a result.

The other consideration that i would be most focused on were I to do it again is the traffic flow on each road. You can see what it presently is in the Green Lanes Traffic Study documents, but keep in mind that this is a matter under review and it could well come to pass that the Ladder road which gets the most traffic might get near the least when all is said and done.

Ah good point! Thanks for replying. Think i became obsessed cos were giving up a SW garden and its my lil paradise. But its time for the next chapter.
Ill give the traffic study another read. Thanks for the tip!
i.e. Warham becomes Seymour and vice versa. Sounds fair doesn't it?
I wouldn't base my sole decision on how much sunlight I receive in my garden let alone the outcome of a council run 'consultation'.
