Anyone had a small 'lean to' side return extension cost and recommendations?
Hi
Has anyone had a 'lean to' / side return extension doing recently?
The land area covers 1.5m by 6.91m. Hoping on creating an open plan kitchen dinner overlooking the garden with a bricked side wall with skylight. Along with two separate grey patio doors running along the back instead of one massive bi-folding door). Its a Victorian semi detached so side access for the builders. (I presume the supporting wall would have to be knocked out and supported with Steel).
How much do you think that would cost? and does anyone recommend any builders for the job (preferably based on recent completed work).
Any advice would be absolutely brilliant... as were hoping for work to start Mid July. If poss!

It doesn't sound like it's a lean to that's wanted but a full structural side return extension. The starting point is probably an architect...

Who are your planning on using? We found an architect but still need a builder and the cost vary according to who you speak to. i've Called London Lofts as they do extensions, so should have a price soon. I'll update the post when i get some cost, just in case anyone else is need this info too.
Anyone else had quotes?

I had an rough estimate of about £20,000 but it was quite a few years ago. I do know someone doing this atm round the corner from me, I'll ask them for a recommendation.

A friend of mine recently did an extension to his property in Holloway. He couldn't have been more complimentary about these guys. I have seen the work and it looks good. Paul is aparently the boss who my friend dealt with (contact deets on website)
