In media studies mode - the Daily Mail has regurgitated this, tacking on gratuitous repetition of the Peter Connelly and Victoria Climbie cases to this unrelated story. It sells papers.....
I am curious as to whether or not journalists from News International titles are posing as lonely young women willing to swap "pictures" online in a "let's see who we get" operation and... this is the best they got.
She'd actually taken a photograph of her chest fully clothed. It exposed nothing; neither literally nor metaphorically.
I am not clicking either. Don't like the Sun and I do not share their views on anything.
Yes, offering a link to The Sun to the uber right on readership of Harringay Online is not the most productive use of someone's time.
Kiss+tell of the most sordid order. Note the lack of name or more info about 'the businessman' who groomed this woman then thought 'aha, Haringey, I can make money out of this'. Can we get his ID from this woman so we can doorstep him?
OK, I've clicked on it. Shame on you Wood Greener for attempting to give it a wider audience. Shame on me for presuming the genders involved were the other way around!
Oh we miss Clive - who though living in the HoL catchment area (posts various) had no other local engagement, he's a councillor for the Highgate Ward so not too surprising he's diverted to Twitter.
Wood Greener joined the site about six weeks ago. He/she has posted around 20 original posts, most have been links to national/London media stories, predominantly derogative of Haringey/Haringey Council. Fairly easy to search HoL to form one's own judgement on Wood Greener's actions, have a look.
And if Wood Greener is picking up press reports, mostly negative, about Haringey Council and its history then that is a matter of record. Give a dog a bad name...... Cf Islington Council in the eighties - remember "Loony Left" ?
