Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi - does any one have a second-hand bed wetting alarm for an 8 year old boy that they would like to sell on? I live on the Ladder and could collect.

Many thanks

I will check if I still have the one I bought a while back. If you want to PM me direct I can give you some details around what my experience was of using it which frankly wasn't great. We resolved the issue a different way...PM me and I'll give you the details.

Thanks so much Antoinette - really appreciate you taking the time to reply. I've just sent you a Message request

Also use waterproof mattress protector they are better than they used to be

Hi Catherine - yes we already have a good one that's easy to wash. Plus disposable liners which are a godsend. It's the amount of washing that really gets you down!

Oh ok good luck worse for the child think how they feel poor thing. But it will improve. Do you get child up to go loo when you go to bed that might help too x
The advice I got from the enuresis clinic was that you shouldn't wake children to go to the toilet once they're asleep for the night. There is a website with lots of useful help and advice oric.org.UK.

Thanks Antoinette - that's also what I have heard from several sources. As well as not limiting fluids as this can cause dehydration.

Thank you for all your advice - it's good to know what other people have tried already.

Is there an alarm for 40+ year old men who spend too long in the pub?
