Accident on Green Lanes this evening (Thursday) involving Deliveroo rider
A Deliveroo rider has been knocked off their bike on Green Lanes this evening apparently by a car turning into the Gardens. At 8.15 this evening when we passed, police and ambulance crews were at the scene, (redirecting traffic heading toward Wood Green back up Green Lanes and allowing traffic heading to Manor House through slowly).
It was unclear as to the condition of the rider, however, they had been transferred to the ambulance.

Looked like there was a broken down (or stopped for some other reason) bus, Southbound just before the bridge when I came past a couple of minutes ago. Police directing traffic into the opposite lane, so tailbacks along Grand Parade.

I was on that bus and had to get off, it was waiting there because driver had been told to not continue down Green Lanes because of the motorbike accident. I think intention was for it to turn round at Sainsbury's. I got on it at Manor House, having noticed that other buses that normally go down green Lanes were continuing up seven sisters rd. Pity they hadn't told passengers, I was able to walk home but the poor woman who had to push her Zimmer frame two miles wasn't too happy. I did offer to get her a cab but she insisted she would walk.
