Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Edible Leaves, Finsbury Park
Does anyone know what is going to happen with the large gardening space inbetween the Manor House gate and Green Lanes gate?
It's currently used by a vulnerable persons' gardening project and Edible Leaves. However Haringey can't afford to fund it anymore, and it is closing up.
Shame as I've used it for several years. They always had great plants.

good question, it's not exactly easy to relocate a gardening project
we've bought a few plants there and they are always very friendly and helpful.

Haringey have withdrawn their grant. The main gardener is still there, seeing to the beds. Are John Grooms in the same situation? Maybe they can combine in attempting to get some funds?

Follow the lead from the Lordship Rec Hub.....locals get together to run the scheme before they lose it!

Thanks Jo for your explanation. I hope that you are successful in maintaining some form of garden/vegetable site in Finsbury Park. Will you keep HoL informed of any development, as I think quite a few people would be interested in helping.
