The drum in my washing machine has come loose. Not sure it can be or is worth fixing as it's quite old. But would be good to talk to a washing machine repairer first before deciding to go for a new one.
Anyone know of anyone out there?

G&S are brilliant. They would be my first port of call as they will give you sensible advice for free and won't try to carry out inappropriate repairs....they just fixed my expensive Miele vacuum cleaner for £20
They come highly recommended! thanks so much for sharing your experience.
There's a repair shop on Wightman just about opposite the Mosque.
Thanks John, I may try these as well. Have a good day.
Thanks for that advice Tris. I can turn the drum by hand but it seems to be lose from back to front. I can try a small wash and see what happens and decide whether to try to get it fixed or replaced.
Currys do something for £119 which might be worth looking at. No fix no fee and no call-out fee. However, they won't fix if the parts are >£119. I essentially used it to find out, for free, that the machine wasn't worth fixing as the part needed cost hundreds.

Thanks for this advice. I'll take a look. Everyone is being very helpful! Much appreciated!
Definitely Ken Bowman of N12. I have been using them for years. They will make a call out charge to see if it is worth repairing but they are always honest.
