Used to be, Liz. Now seems to be getting steadily worse.

John Forde is very responsive.
Thanks, WightmanPaul, for this inormation.
But while I'm pleased for Harringay ward, it doesn't help people who report Graffiti somewhere else through the Council website, and who don't get an effective response.
In any case it shouldn't depend on locals having the time or taking the trouble to report things -and especially not through one named member of council staff. (Though I'm very grateful that people do.)
The overall systems should work promptly and effectively. And Council staff who are out and about should be part of this.
The last time I checked the passage was in Harringay.
You're entitled to your opinion on whether the Council should name officers on the website but it's not the case that reports go through one name. There is a phone number, an email and a report form. It was my observation that the named officer is responsive.
I don't have the data to judge the assertion that the service is getting better or worse but I agree that the Council should be proactive and not be dependent on reports from locals, although it would be tremendously frustrating if their systems could not make best use of such reports. If this is the case elsewhere that's poor.
Paul,
John's at a polling station today at Wood Green Library and is not back in until Tuesday, but there may be someone else in his office that can help. So going on the website as Liz said should still get results.
Thanks Glyn, yes - use the website.
