Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi
We at thinking about a move from the ladder to Noel Park and would really appreciate the views of anyone who already lives there. We have a young daughter so would welcome people's thoughts on schools/facilities for little ones too.

Thanks so much!

Have you found the Noel Park website? It's based on this one but isn't as busy. You can find it at noelparknet.ning.com.

Thanks Hugh!

As Hugh mentions, come and join us on Noelparknet.com Most people on the site are residents of Noel Park & You'll find we're a friendly bunch.

BTW, I'm a resident. I moved here from Hackney & before that San Francisco & I love it here!

Hi, I live on the other side or Lordship Lane very close to Noel Pk.
To be honest I usually travel around the borough to use different facilities for my kids (17 months and 4 years). The children's center at Noel Pk is now closed and is being turned into a private nursery. It's a short walk to Wood Green library. Crouch end, the ladder is also within easy walking distance. You can get the bus straight to Muswell hill, Finsbury pk crouch end etc. Lordship Lane Rec is a great park with lots going on for kids at the Hub.
My son just got accepted at Lordship Lane Primary and I'm very happy with that. I have only heard good things about the school. It's big which I thought might be a bit scary but there is a real family caring atmosphere. They have also won a few national reading completions.
