Has anyone had this experience recently? Each time I try to retune my elderly tv it still comes up only with BBC1,2 and 4 and a load of others I don't want when I do want 3,4,5 and Film 4. I've just contacted that at800 service (which was to do with interference from 4G signals) but their stuff says very few London households were affected.
I wanted to see if I could fix it before calling someone out.

Similar to you, Madeline, I've been having problems too, specifically with BBC1 and 2 and messages coming up on screen to retune. Then a couple of days back I actually got a card through the door from Freeview informing me of a new 4G mast in the area which might be affecting my reception. The card provided a free number to ring. For anybody who wants it it's 0808 13 13 800. I live in the West Green Road, Turnpike Lane end in a second floor flat. The guy at Freeview was really helpful and an engineer is coming round tomorrow pm (Tuesday) to see what can be done. This is also a free service. I'll try to report back.
Thanks to all who've responded, especially about at800. I knew about them but these posts made me feel more confident about contacting them. An engineer is coming round in a fortnight's time so I will see what they say....
Just to let people know that at800 came around, were very helpful, putting on a filter and retuning the tv, although they didn't think my problem was due to 4G signals. I appreciate people on this forum taking the trouble to give their views and experience.
Thanks for update, and to know it's not just a token measure.
