Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Having recently written an article for a professional journal on clinical wills I've felt a more pressing need to update my personal one. It's an uncomfortable topic we could find ourselves avoiding eg I know people in their 60s without a will. A recent talk at my Chamber of Commerce had a solicitor talking about this and they charge £800 for both, which seems quite steep. Does have anyone have any experience of getting on or both done effectively and cheaper? I feel it should not cost so much to take responsibility by planning for one's demise! And don't even get me started on the unregulated funeral industry

Probably my reply that I added to say my union offered a will service but read that someone had already posted similar info. So I proptly deleted my post.
