Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Does anyone know of any big spaces in the area that could accommodate 200 people seated? It doesn't need to be all singing, all dancing but does need to:

  • be accessible
  • have at least 3/4 loos
  • have a kitchen sink
  • have plug points

Was hoping for a blank, industrial space but it seems these are all extortionate since warehouses became trendy...

Thanks!

Turkish community centre, Green Lanes, can also cook the food!

Thanks Peter though I think it's too small for us - we need to be able to seat 200 people and the website says seated it'd accommodate 70-80 people...

St John Vianneys

Thanks Con. Is this the church you're referring to? I couldn't see any mention of space on their website so wanted to double check...

Yes, The church has a parish centre next door to the Church. The is also the new community centre at the new tower blocks over at Tottenham Hale.

Hornsey Vale Community Centre.

Thanks Dick. It might be a little tight but the gym looks fantastic!

I have only seen it used for Apple Day fests (such as the one coming up on 17th Oct 2pm-5pm).  I would have guessed that the main hall is big enough but what may not be clear from the web-site is that the small hall opens off the main hall through a folding partition so the two run together.  I don't know how many chairs they have but they have plenty of folding tables.

The Langham Club, 600 Green lanes, N8 0RY

Thanks Jamie. Do you know who I should get in touch with? As with the Mildmay Working Men's Club, Google is coming up short..
