One of my neighbours own a pet scanner, to check if a cat has a microchip. If you want I can ask her to borrow it and find out if he belongs to someone...he looks well so just assuming he has a owner and got lost.

Thanks a lot, yes I agree, hopefully they will get the cat scanned for a microchip.

I can't pass on your kind offer of help to the finder in this instance, but hopefully they will see it on here.
