I think I'd like to sign the petitions but could you confirm the nature of the work for me please?

As I understand it, the owners of this property have got planning permission to do a basement conversion, but in order to do the work, construction vehicles would need access to the rear of the property, which means vehicles crossing and/or obstructing Parklands Walk?

You've summed it up perfectly. The property has a covenant forbidding this, but Haringey Council could just ignore it. Also the Friends of the Parkland were not consulted at all on this use of the Nature Reserve.

OK thanks I've signed the petition now. I like to run along Parkland Walk once or twice a week precisely because it is safe from traffic so would hate to see it disturbed by construction work.
