Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Apologies for raising this topic again, but I hope this will catch some folks who have not see it first time around.

The weather is hot and dry and a lot of the planters and raised beds are looking thirsty. So are a few of the smaller trees that may have been planted recently.

If you get a second please throw some water on the plants, or down the pipes for the newer trees- maybe get your kids to bring a bottle to chuck on something that may need it on the way to school or over the weekend!

Also, if you live by a new tree, please do consider adopting that tree and looking after it.

Thanks

Great stuff Justin, the railing planter outside the Mattison Rd pool entrance will need a drink over the Hol's , so feel free to keep a look out folks, little and often.

I'll happily do the one outside 111 Pemberton.

Good man!

It's a selfless gesture, I know, but I'm out there with my watering can most nights, and I'm pretty confident I can manage the extra 20 feet with it to cross the road if I warm up properly.

I take the hose out 2 x week for good soak but afraid it doesn't reach across the road to outside the school, so thanks guys

The trouble with the pipes is they fill up with dirt and rubbish and it's difficult to get any water down.

I've done mine on Wightman ( even though |I didn't want it there in the first place as they put it directly opposite the entrance and the bin men have destroyed the wall by trying to manoeuvre the big recycling bin past  without damaging the tree. )
