Desperately seeking window cleaner

Do they even exist any more?

I'm at my wits' end with my Edwardian sash windows. There's clearly a market for one in my street, as last week I saw a guy literally balancing on his window ledge to clean the exterior pane - sadly not the sort of acrobatics I'm prepared to engage in.

I did have a window cleaner (or so I thought) but after an eight week text and emailing match, it all came to nothing. And I thought we had something, too.

We've had some quite nicely-made leaflets through the door offering the service recently, but I just prefer to go on a personal recommendation, especially if they are doing inside. I've been approached by crooks pretending to be window cleaners before, so am just a bit wary.

So please, guys, can anyone recommend one? The killer catch is that they also have to be prepared to venture into South Tottenham (I live just across the road from the 'Warehouse District' so not far at all from Harringay).

Clean Touch Window Cleaning is Daniel and I recommend him.  A very nice man.  HOWEVER, he is out of the country until June so don't waste your time trying to contact him now.  Billy Hole is quite right - he gets incredibly booked up but if you don't find anyone you are happy with before June I suggest you get in touch with him then.

You might want to try Christian Costi (07967455424). He is incredibly conscientious and reliable. He cleans my front and back windows (including windowsills and surrounds) every six weeks and we organise visits through texts. Can't recommend him more highly.

I've heard about many window cleaning companies out there. A friend of mine recently booked http://www.london-window-cleaning.com/ and she said they worked fast and the job was done quite nice. She didn't say what the price was though. I hope I helped!

We just had Christian do our windows and he was fantastic. Very thorough, prompt and polite, and made sure the job was done properly.

Sounds like you saw me the other day cleaning the outside of my sash on the first floor! Yes, I don't really want to do that again.
