Interesting. Wonder why they can't be bothered to do same with front gardens. I've complained about "my" HMO a few times, and it's never their problem.
Yes I remember that discussion. Called that number, and was told in no uncertain terms that if rubbish was on private property there was nothing they can do. Go figure, eh?

An enforceable Litter Control Notice can be served by a Local Auhtority upon an owner/occupier for a littered front garden if it is open to the air, if there is a persitent problem with littering and if there is no attempt to clean up or prevent the problem occuring.
