I said I was boycotting them, not that people should boycott them.

Technically, Lauren, I suppose one person could (attempt to) boycott another or another's business. In much the same sense that a fat sleeper could be fleabitten by a single persistent flea. Or in the fog-in-the-channel-continent-cut-off sense. But your single ostracism of naughty Devran could hardly compare with the original Irish boycott of Captain Charles Cunningham Boycott, Lord Erne's land-agent, in 1880; or with the consumer, academic and sporting boycott/s of Apartheid South Africa; or with the Montgomery Bus Boycott; or even with the mooted Black Boycott of Black Friday pre-Christmas Sales this weekend as a result of the Ferguson travesty of justice.

So, good luck with your one-woman boycott. May I suggest instead a full hunger & thirst strike in the middle of Devran's main room? Or a Samurai-style hara kiri by their lamb sheesh & Turkish liver counter? Or a spontaneous combustion on their main grill?

Thanks OAE. You remind me a lot of my old History/Latin teacher. I liked him very much. Whenever I read your posts, I see him. Do you also wear Jesus sandals with socks, even in winter?
