Do You Access HoL by Mobile?
The recent change to the iPhone operating system seems to mean that HoL now defaults to the mobile version when accessing it by mobile. Useful as this version may be, I much prefer the desktop version even on a mobile. I was wondering if anyone else has a preference. If few people like the mobile version, we could turn it off.

Desktop version much better.
Mobile version sometimes deletes replies without posting and you can't find new posts on long threads.
Lots of other things I've noticed but don't immediately spring to mind. I'm sure someone else can tell you...

Definitely desktop. I find the mobile version so frustrating that I have stopped using my mobile to look at HoL. Even though there is an option to change to desktop, as soon as I try and move around the thread it reverts to the mobile version.

I never really managed to use the mobile version successfully so stopped accessing the site on my mobile.

Some people may be understandly unaware that it is possible to view the desktop version on your mobile. First access the drop-down menu via the small grid in the top right hand corner of the screen than tap Desktop View.
Up till recently my phone would stick with whatever I chose (in my case always the desktop view). Since my phone's operating system was updated, I can't stop it reverting to the mobile view.
Thank you to those of you who have replied. So far it seems that most people share my disdain of the mobile version.
So here's what I'm going to do. I'll try and switch the mobile version off and see if it raises any complaints.
