Was I the Last Person to Discover Haringey Freecycle (Free Recycled Stuff)?
I've added the parenthesised explanation in the heading because I'd seen this site for quite a while and always assumed that it was something to do with a local cycling campaiging organisation.
Not a bit of it; it's a site where local people offer anything they don't want for free - from cutlery, through shelving units and beds to TVs and sofas. So much stuff in fact that it struck me you could furnish a house from top to bottom for nowt.
It seems like if you dilly-dally too long the object you're after may be gone. But be nimble, be quick and you can take you pick.

I'm sure that most people use Freecycle are like you (and me) who are simply looking for things to reuse Anna, but there are some professionals who seem to lurk on it.
