Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Found this lurking in the back of the cupboard the other day. Which means it has survived at least 4 house moves. Can anyone beat me?

Can't put my hands on it right now, but somewhere I have a can of mushy peas from 1979.

Amateur.  I have a tin of mustard powder priced at 1s 6d.

We went decimal in 1971.

Tch, I'm clearly only playing at this!

I could if my partner stopped throwing away out of date food !

Found in the road/ brought home to put on pizza been in fridge since march 2013

What are you going to do with it James?

I not only came across a grocery item that was well beyond its sell-by date, but consumed it.

It was a sealed pack of orange juice seven years old. I opened it, took a tiny sip and then consumed the rest without a problem. I abhor food waste, but I even wouldn't try that with eggs, meat or fish or several other foodstuffs.

I remember hearing Jeremy Hardy on The News Quiz once saying that he only chucked food out when it started to spontaneously twinkle in the dark.
I think eggs are ok if just a week or so past date. Meat is ok within a few days. Fish tends to go off quicker and develops toxins such as scombrotoxic poisoning from tuna.

Men who live alone are slobs - Official

They can eat more out of date food

which could ultimately

Save the planet !!!

4 week matured steak makes a mockery of 'best before date' labels
