Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Shutters... any recommendations?
I want to get plantation shutters fitted for x2, bay windows (up and downstairs).
I really don't know where to start and who to contact, so need advice / recommendations from anyone who have bought them recently.
I am looking for a company to make and install or any successful attempts at the DIY option.
I obviously want a good price, but most importantly excellent craftsmanship and customer service.
Can you help and tell me who to call and whom to avoid !!

We recently used Bespoke Shutters www.bespokeshutters.com and they did an excellent job. Great service, great price, not at all pushy when they came to measure up for our no-obligation quote. George their sales guy is a really nice bloke.

I was asking a few months ago about recommendations for shutters. Just to feedback that I went with bespoke shutters. They were great since:
- Happy with the end result
- Cheapest of the three quotes I received
- Really nice guys
- Local
- Quick to respond to any communication/questions
- Very accomodating/flexible when they come round for quotes, measuring and installation

I have always wanted to get shutters too. Can anyone give a ballpark figure for a standard three window bay? Thanks

We paid about £1000 and they are beautiful. This included extras such as hidden tilt and colour matching to a particular colour I wanted.

We used Diamond Shutters. Did a great job. From memory, we paid about £1300 for bay window and 2 upstairs windows.
