Do you own a cute little black cat with white markings on the face?
Does he hang around with a fluffy ginger cat (we call Garfield)?
Do you live on or near Hewitt Road?
If so, can you please neuter your kitty. It is spraying in my garden daily and the smell is strong and gross. We are pinching our noses in the house with all the windows closed.

Start with the owners.
We initially thought it was our little foxy friend, but we have seen the kitty in action. Looked us straight in the eye- sprayed and jumped into the next garden.
Any suggestions on how to prevent them from doing this???- without harm
In my experience the smell from the spray of a neutered cat is distinctly muted compared with un-neutered. I'm suffering from a number of un-neutered toms in my street at the moment. I always know whether it is my neutered cat who has been misbehaving in my house, or an intruder. The difference in stench levels is unmistakeable.
As for the fox show at the moment: mum and 4 babes putting on a full performance every day on the deck outside the kitchen as long as it isn't pouring with rain, while my cats are in exile in the farthest corner of the house. Trouble is the babes are so cute that I can't bring myself to drive them away.
You can't really stop a cat spraying in your garden. If the cat has not been neutered, then its urine usually has a stronger smell. If you look at the back end of a male cat, you will be able to see if it is not neutered as it will have 2 balls the size of small grapes.
It's best for all cats to be neutered to prevent fighting and kittens. I would take a photo of the cat so hopefully someone will recognise it and its owner can be encouraged to neuter it if it hasn't been neutered. Or it may be a stray cat or lost cat which needs to be helped and neutered. A vet will scan it to see if it's microchipped.
Well, now that we've reached some consensus on cats and foxes, what is the prevalent HOL position on FGM?
If FGM was actually a disease that caused the same "symptoms" as a person and a knife do and there was an expensive but practical inoculation program available... we'd see it eradicated overnight.
